The Platinum Pro is the latest design from Skull Shaver, so it also has the newest blades. These rotary blades move quietly and quickly, shaving away all hair in its path for a super clean shave.
While I did have to double back once or twice to get a few stray hairs missed, the overall experience is extremely fast and satisfying.
The more I used the razor, the more comfortable it became, and I missed fewer hairs.

Our experience with this shaver isn’t much different that what other customers experienced. With five-star ratings and positive reviews, Skull Shaver seems to beat out traditional electric shavers due to its design and high-quality blades.
Notable Features
One thing to note is there’s a difference between the new Platinum Pro and the old Platinum version.
The newest “Pro” version includes a 4-head, super-efficient blade and a better motor. The previous one included a 5-head blade that was larger and somewhat more awkward to hold. So, don’t get fooled if you still see the 5-head images online.
The latest design is much easier to fit in your palm and glides seamlessly over your head.
The latest Forte blades come with the Platinum Pro, and Skull Shaver has guaranteed that these blades last up to year. However, in our research customers are claiming with regular use, they’re replacing them every 6 months or so to get the cleanest shave.
Verdict
Just a slick razor that comes with all the accessories, wash indicator and the better LED indicator of all models. So, if you don’t mind spending a little more for a 90 second bald shave, the platium is my pick. Also, comes with an awesome 2-year warranty – better than the others with only a 1-year.

Our Experience
We found the Gold Pro and Platinum Pro products to be very similar and really didn’t experience much of a difference between them. We did notice the Gold PRO comes with no accessories like the Platinum PRO does.

The Gold Pro has the same Forte Blade Pro as the Platinum, but the Platinum version comes with a chrome exterior. The Gold Pro has a sleek reflective black design.
- The Pitbull Gold Pro has less visual appeal, but fits just as well in your hand and glides perfectly across your head and face with no nicks like the platinum.
- It’s just as easy to use and made of similar materials (except finish and display).
- It also has a four-head blade with a wireless design to make it super fast and easy to shave in the morning.
Verdict
I found no functional difference nor quality of cut between the Gold and the Platinum for much less money. They both use the same Japanese stainless steel blades, and bald shaving is no longer a chore. It has a 1-year warranty where the gold has 2 years.
You don’t get any accessories with this Gold model so at minimum you’ll need a case. I really like the Aproca Hard Travel Case. It’s super durable and only $109.96 on Amazon.

In comparison to the Gold Pro, the Silver Pro is just as efficient and found myself going back over the same sections to get a cleaner shave. We think this because of higher-quality materials used with the upper models and a different motor.
In addition, the battery life isn’t as strong, at only 600 mAh in comparison to 1400 mAh of the Gold and Platinum.

In the end, the product does get the job done with a little more effort and is an option if you’re on a budget.
Running about $60 less than the Silver PRO, we’d suggest this shaver if you’re on a budget or aren’t sure about this shaver design and want to give the palm style a try. You can also switch out the blades for higher-quality ones, such as the Forte or Baron, or Carver blades available on Skull Shaver’s website, but then you’ve spent what you saved.
